Old Saddlers Cottage Ireby Keswick Old Saddlers Cottage is available all year round, and can sleep from one to seven people plus baby. It enjoys a Visit Britain 4 Star rating. Newly installed oil-fired central heating, together with a combi boiler for constant hot water; make The Old Saddler's Cottage ideal for a cosy winter break as well as a summer holiday. Downstairs: The Sitting Room has a log burning stove, colour television, DVD, Video, Sky Plus, and a stereo system. Many books and games are provided for your use, as are leaflets and information about the many local places of interest and activities available for visitors.
The Dining Room has an eight-foot pine table with eight chairs, a large pine dresser, coal effect electric stove, and a high chair is also provided.
The Kitchen was newly fitted in 2004 and includes dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge / freezer, microwave, and electric oven and hobs with extractor fan. There is a comprehensive supply of cutlery, crockery, glassware and all the kitchen equipment you could need.
The Small Back Porch provides a useful drying area for the odd wet day! It houses the boiler and has a stable door to the outside. The Downstairs Bathroom was installed in 2005 and comprises bath with shower over, WC and basin, as well as a heated towel rail.
Upstairs: are three bedrooms and a further bathroom: Bedroom 1 has a King Size pine four-poster bed, dressing table, drawers, and walk-in wardrobe. Also provided is a double sofa bed.
Bedroom 2 has two beds; a double and a single, both in wrought iron. Also a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3 has two full-size single pine beds, drawers and wardrobe.
The Bathroom includes bath, WC and basin, as well as a heated towel rail and a large drying cupboard.
